St James, Jamaica: Woman Raped by Man Posing as Homeowner – The St. James police have initiated a manhunt for a man accused of raping a woman who sought a rental property, after he posed as a homeowner in the Dumfries district on Thursday.
According to reports, the female contacted the suspect on Wednesday regarding rental properties in the community.
The suspect instructed her to meet him in Dumfries, where he picked her up on his motorcycle and transported her to a location with three houses in a yard.
After indicating that he had left the keys to open the doors, the suspect took her to an isolated area nearby, where he allegedly brandished a handgun and sexually assaulted her.
Following the incident, the victim reported the matter to the police, prompting authorities to launch a manhunt to apprehend the suspect.
