Man Killed in Motor Vehicle Collision along PJ Patterson Highway in Clarendon

The May Pen police in Clarendon have reported the death of a man involved in a motor vehicle collision on Tuesday along a section of the PJ Patterson Highway in the parish.

The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Kevin Rose, a taxi operator from Guys Hill district in St. Catherine.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 3:00 pm when Rose was driving his Toyota Pro-box motor vehicle along the highway, with two other vehicles trailing behind.

It is further reported that a truck traveling behind failed to stop when one of the vehicles ahead came to a halt, resulting in a collision with Rose’s car.

Rose was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining injuries for which he was rushed to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
