St Andrew, Jamaica – A 25-year-old Kingston woman has been charged in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Pembroke Hall High School student Terona “Tee-Tee” Thomas, who was shot and killed in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew, in April.
Charged is Daniela Morrison, a contractor of Waltham Park Road, Kingston 11. She has been formally charged with accessory before and after the fact to murder following an extensive police investigation.
Reports from the Olympic Gardens Police are that on April 17, 2025, Morrison and a male accomplice rented a silver Nissan Note motor car which was later used in the attack.
Around 1:50 p.m., the gunman allegedly opened fire on a group of people in the community, hitting Thomas and two other individuals before escaping the scene.
The victims were rushed to hospital, where Thomas was pronounced dead, while the other two men were admitted for treatment.
Investigators allege that after the shooting, Morrison collected the getaway vehicle and returned it, attempting to distance herself from the incident.
She was later charged following a case review by detectives assigned to the St Andrew South Police Division, who say the investigation is still ongoing.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force is urging anyone with information on this case or other crimes in the area to contact the Hunts Bay Police CIB at (876) 923-7111, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
In May, Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced a $2 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Thomas’s killers. The tragic incident took place in Holness’s West Central St Andrew constituency, shocking residents and the wider community.
