The Kingston police are now reporting that a female who was attacked, and knocked unconscious with a stone, by her common-law husband on Thursday morning, April 11, in Kingston, has not died, at it is being said.
One police source told MCKOY’S NEWS that the female is presently still in serious condition at a medical facility, and doctors say she will pull through.
The female narrowly missed being killed by her jealous common-law husband, who has been identified only as ” Suddy Y” laborer of McIntosh Drive, in Kingston 13.
Reports by the Hunts Bay police are that, shortly after 7:00 a.m., on Thursday, the man is known as ” Suddy” and his common-law wife was at their home in McIntosh drive, when an argument developed between them.
The dispute developed into a physical confrontation, and ” Suddy” used a stone to hit the female in the regions of her, rendering her unconscious.
Thinking that the woman was dead, ” Suddy” then ran from the location, got a piece of rope, and used it to hang himself.
The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, the officers discovered that the female was still breathing, and she was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated, and admitted in serious condition.
Following a search of the area, ” Suddy” was discovered hanging from the tree, by a piece of rope which was tied around his neck, and suspended from a branch.
