Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: A windscreen wiper who allegedly pulled a knife at a male tourist when his offer to wipe the man’s windscreen was rejected, was offered bail in the sum of $20,000 in the St, James Parish Court on Wednesday.
Thirty-year-old Jason Wright of Williams Street, St. James pleaded guilty to assault at common law when he appeared before presiding judge Sandria Wong-Small.

Wright attempted to wipe the windscreen, but the complainant refused his service. That did not go well with Wright and he allegedly pulled a knife at the complainant causing him to become fearful.
The matter was reported to the police and Wright was arrested and charged.
During Wednesday’s proceedings, Wong-Small offered him bail in the sum of $20,000 in his own surety and set the matter for further mention on July 22.
