Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Savannalamar Murder: as the constant gang warfare within the township of Savanna-la-mar in the parish of Westmoreland grows more intense. Another man who is believed to have been a victim of the ongoing gang war was shot and killed while at home in Savanna-la-mar on Wednesday evening of February 21.
The latest victim has been identified as 21-year-old Rohan Brennon, otherwise called “Jigsy” unemployed of 24 Hudson Street also in Savanna-la-mar.
Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police are that shortly after 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Brennon was at home with his girlfriend in their board structure dwelling house. Minutes later, a motorcycle pulled up on the outside of the house, the pillion jumped off and kicked open the front door to the house.
The man brandished a handgun and fired several shots hitting Brennon who was playing video games multiple times all over his body. Brennon was killed on the spot while the gunman who left the female unhurt jumped back on the waiting motorcycle which sped away.
This makes it a total of 21 persons to be murdered in Westmoreland since the start of the year.
