Westmoreland Police Carrying Out Probe into Murder of Security Guard

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland:, Detectives attached to the Savanna-la-mar CIB Department in the parish of Westmoreland, say they are now carrying out an intensive investigation into the death of a security guard, who was discovered shot to death execution style, along a beach property in Paradise district in the parish on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Dead is Michael Annon, 29-year-old security guard also of Smithfield district.

Reports by the police are that about 2:30 p.m. on Friday, a fisherman was attending to his boat along a section of the Paradise Beach Front property when he stumbled upon the body lying along the beach.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, they discovered that the victim was shot to the head. His hands and feet were also bound and the investigators have theorized that he was killed elsewhere and his body dumped on the beach property.

The scene was processed and he was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
