A Westmoreland farmer died at the hospital after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle accident on Bath Main Road in the parish on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Paul Bacchas, a resident of Bambury district in Westmoreland.
Reports indicate that around 2:30 AM on Friday, Bacchas was driving his white Toyota Voxy bus along Bath Main Road, heading from Torrington toward Bambury district, when the vehicle began to skid, causing him to lose control. The bus collided with an embankment and overturned, throwing Bacchas from the vehicle.
