Jamaica News, March 28, 2018 – Westmoreland Crash Kills One
Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – One man who is said to be a taxi operator is now dead and four others seriously injured, following a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Bluefields main road in Westmoreland on Wednesday morning, March 28.
The police have not yet released the name of the deceased taxi driver or of those injured.
Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police are that, shortly after 6:00 am on Wednesday, the taxi driver was traveling along the Bluefields main road along with four passengers in his white Toyota Corolla station wagon motorcar.
On reaching a section of the Farm main road, the driver collided into a Blue Toyota Hiace mini bus which was traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver and four other passenger, sustained head and body injuries. They were rushed to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where he was pronounced dead and the other victims admitted in serious condition.
