Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The police in the parish of Westmoreland say they are now in search of one man for questioning in connection with the murder of a construction worker at a section of the parish on Saturday, February 17.
Investigators pointed out that the victim, 35-year-old Rohan Eyest of Cave District was shot and killed early on Saturday morning.
Reports are that shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, residents in Cave District alerted the police after hearing several gunshots being fired at a section of the community.
The lawmen rushed to the location and upon arrival, they stumbled upon Eyest’s body. He was discovered lying face down in a pool of blood on a marked track. He also had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The police also stated that they cannot release the name of the suspect at this time.
