The Westmoreland police have arrested and charged a man in connection with an incident committed against a teenage girl at Beeston Spring, in Bluefields, Westmoreland, between the months of November to December of last year.
Charged with rape is 24 year-old Andre Henderson, also of Beeston Spring, in Bluefields, Westmoreland.
Reports are that during the months of November and December, Henderson who resides at the same premises as the teenage girl, allegedly forced her into having sex with him on numerous occasions.
The matter was reported to the police who carried out an investigation, and a search launched for the accused.
He was apprehended on Monday, during an operation carried out in the area, and subsequently charged.
