SPANISH TOWN, Jamaica — A disturbing confrontation involving a woman and a group of students aboard a coaster bus escalated into a violent scene, leaving multiple persons injured. The incident, which unfolded in full view of the public and was captured in widely circulated videos on social media, reportedly occurred after a heated exchange during a commute.
Reports are that the woman, allegedly armed with a knife, became involved in an altercation with students on the bus. In one video, she is seen stepping off the vehicle and being confronted by two men—one believed to be the bus conductor. During the encounter, she is seen stabbing at one of the men as he attempts to restrain her.
In a second video, the woman is shown speaking with a police officer when a schoolboy suddenly strikes her on the back of the head with what appears to be a rock. She collapses to the ground as the boy attempts to flee but is chased by the officer.
Sources allege the situation began when a student reportedly “bounced” the woman during the commute, prompting her to use a knife to injure four students. The altercation continued into Spanish Town, where the bus conductor intervened and law enforcement was summoned.
The police have confirmed awareness of the incident, but no official statement has been issued regarding the launch of an investigation.
This violent episode has sparked concern among commuters and parents, raising questions about safety on public transportation and the need for conflict resolution mechanisms involving schoolchildren and adults.
