The body of a 45-year-old used-car dealer was discovered nude in the trunk of a motor car in bushes at Kendal, Manchester, early Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Damian Taylor, otherwise called “Zali,” a resident of Water Mouth, Porus, in the parish.
Taylor’s body was reportedly found shortly after midnight inside the trunk of a black Toyota Mark X motor car parked across the road from the Kirkvine Sports Complex.
The police say the body bore several chop and gunshot wounds.
The circumstances surrounding the killing remain under investigation.
Taylor’s death brings the number of murders recorded in Manchester since the start of 2026 to 26.
