St. Catherine, Jamaica (JCF) – Correctional Officer Shot Wife: A correctional officer who is alleged to have shot his wife at their home in New Harbour Village, St. Catherine on Saturday, May 13 has been charged.
He has been charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, Wounding with Intent and Assault at Common Law.
He is scheduled to appear before the St. Catherine Parish Court on Friday, May 26.
Reports are that the couple was at home when an argument developed. It is alleged that a gun was used to shoot the woman in the abdomen. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
