FALMOUTH, Trelawny – Police are investigating the murder of an unidentified woman whose body was discovered along Duke Street in Falmouth early this morning. Residents reported hearing gunshots in the area and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, police found the woman lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
The victim’s identity remains unknown, but police suspect that she may have been a sex worker. It is believed that she could have relocated from Seaboard Street, a known area for sex work, to Duke Street due to increased police presence in her usual area.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
