The Halfway Tree police have commenced a probe into the shooting death of an unidentified male in Highlight View, Kingston 6 on Thursday, February 16.
Reports are that about 2:50pm, the unidentified male was walking along the roadway when he was ambushed and shot multiple times by a lone gunman.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victim was discovered lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transferred to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
