The police in Old Harbour, St Catherine, have yet to identify a man whose body was discovered along a section of the Marlie Mount Road in the parish on Wednesday morning.
Reports indicate that shortly after 6:00 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body and alerted the police.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the lifeless body of the unidentified male was found lying in a pool of blood on the road.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of death.
