Two Persons Shot and Injured, as Gunmen Launch Second Attack on Residents at Tex Lane in Downtown, Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Two persons were shot and seriously injured, following a shooting incident which took place at a section of tex lane, in downtown Kingston, on Tuesday afternoon, May 14.

The names of the two injured victims are being withheld by the police

Reports by the police are that about 1:00 p.m., armed men went to a section of the community and opened fire on a group of persons who were standing outside a business establishment.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, two persons, including a man and a woman, were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were transported to hospital, where they were treated and admitted in serious but stable condition.

Investigators say that this is the second gun attack mounted in the area, since the start of the week

The first attack occurred about 10:00 p.m., on Monday, at another section of the community.

Gunmen also went to the area and fired a barrage of gunfire, causing damages to property.  Luckily no one was seriously injured in that attack.
