Two Injured In Norwood Shoot Out

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Two Injured In Norwood Shoot Out: The Montego Hills police in St James is now in search of a group of armed men who shot and injured a 34-yr-old female vendor and a 25-yr-old male Entertainment Coordinator who are both from Norwood community on Monday (September 18, 2017) night.

Reports are that shortly after 7:30 p.m. the male victim went to purchase items from the female vendor who operates a stall along the main road at a section of Norwood known as Waurika Hills.

He had just made the purchase when a group of armed men walked down the road towards them. One of the gunmen went over to the stall and opened fire on the female vendor and her customer.

 They both received gunshot wounds to their upper and lower bodies, but the two wounded victims were still able to run and take cover in the darkness of the night. After the gunmen walked away the victims were both rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were treated and admitted.

The Montego Hills police are now investigating.
