Law enforcement officers have removed two illegal firearms and 22 rounds of 9mm ammunition from circulation following a targeted operation in St Andrew on Monday night.
The seizure was carried out by detectives attached to the National Strategic Anti-Gang Division during an intelligence-driven mission in the Weise Road area of Bull Bay at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Authorities reported that the operation involved a coordinated effort between the division—part of the Specialized Investigation Branch—and members of the Area 4 Anti-Gang Task Force.
During a search of premises in the targeted community, officers uncovered the illegal weapons along with the ammunition. However, no individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the find.
