Two Elderly Men Shot at Bar: Two men were shot and injured during a gun attack at a bar in the Marross district of Petersfield, Westmoreland, on Friday night.
The victims have been identified as a 53-year-old man who received two gunshot wounds and another 58-year-old man who received gunshot wounds to his hands.
Reports by the Whithorne police indicate that around 7:00 pm, the men were among a group of patrons at a bar in the community when a lone gunman walked into the establishment and opened fire on them.
The lone gunman then fled on foot from the area, prompting the police to be summoned. Upon arrival, the two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were rushed to the hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.
