Law enforcement officers in St Elizabeth have taken two men into custody following coordinated operations targeting illegal drug activities in the parish.
The arrests were made during a joint police-military exercise in the Oxford area, where authorities reportedly seized approximately 170 pounds of ganja.
In a separate but related operation in Watchwell, security forces destroyed about two acres of ganja cultivation.
The activities form part of ongoing measures aimed at disrupting the drugs-for-guns trade and reducing illegal trafficking within the parish.
