Truck Driver Allegedly Chops Wife, Children Before Suicide in St Ann

St Ann, Jamaica — The Alexandria police are investigating a tragic incident in which a man attacked his wife and two children before reportedly taking his own life on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old truck driver Winston Dave Pryce of Maida district , Alexandria.

According to initial reports, Pryce and his family were at their home when a domestic dispute escalated into violence. During the altercation, Pryce allegedly used a machete to inflict wounds on his wife and two children.

Residents of the area were alerted and rushed the injured family members to the hospital for medical treatment. Their current conditions have not yet been disclosed. Pryce was later found deceased, reportedly having committed suicide following the attack.

The police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
