Trinidad and Tobago – The police in Trinidad and Tobago are investigating the fatal shooting of a policeman while on duty at the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government at Kent House.
The deceased has been identified as Jamal Charles, who was reportedly shot in the neck with a colleague’s firearm while on sentry duty.
Reports from the scene indicate that Charles and two fellow officers were stationed in a booth just outside the ministry’s head office when the incident occurred.
