Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Trelawny Family Shot: The Clarkes Town police in Trelawny are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of an 8-yr-old boy and a 25-yr-old female in Kinloss District in Clarkes Town, Trelawny on Wednesday (November 22, 2017) night.
The victims have been identified as Annakay Williams, unemployed and Javanie Kerr Lennon, a student. Those wounded are a 24-yr-old laborer, another 8-yr-old, a 14-yr-old, and a 17-yr-old, who are all students.
Reports are that shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the family were at their home in Kinloss District when they heard persons on the outside of the house. A male family member went to investigate and immediately as he opened the front door, he was greeted by one man armed with a handgun who fired on him. The gunman was then joined by two other gunmen who fired from the outside of two windows of the house. When the shooting subsided and the gunmen left the house it was discovered that all six persons were shot.
They were all rushed to the Falmouth Hospital where the female, who is said to have been visiting a male friend at the house, along with the 8-yr-old were pronounced dead and the other four admitted in serious condition.
