Fatal Trelawny Crash, Nurse and Security Guard Dead

Trelawny, Jamaica (McN) – Two persons are reported dead in a Trelawny crash, along the Harmony Hall main road in Trelawny, on Friday, March 31.

The bodies are identified as Rohan Williams, 26-year-old, security guard of Bethany, Alexandria District in St. Ann and Twayna McLennon, a 25-year-old nurse of Orange Hill, Brown’s Town, also in the parish of St. Ann.

Police are reporting that about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Williams was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer with McLennon as his passenger; when he reportedly attempted to  overtake several motor cars before him. In his attempt the motorcar collided with an oncoming Subaru Legacy travelling in the opposite direction.

Williams, McLennon and the driver of the Subaru were later rushed to hospital, where Williams and McLennon were pronounced dead.

The driver of the Subaru was later treated and released.

Police are investigations the nature of the crash.
