Man Beat, Chopped Up and Burnt after Chopping Elderly Man to Death

St. James, Jamaica (McN) – Two men were chopped to death and another chopped and injured during three chopping incidents which occurred at the home of a Senior citizen in Paradise Norwood, St James on Saturday morning, April 1.

The bloody incident resulted in the senior citizen been chopped to death and his attacker know so far only as Vincent also chopped to death by angry residents from the community.




Another community member who was chopped by Vincent has since been admitted to hospital in serious condition.

The Montego Bay Freeport police reports that, shortly after 10:00 am on Saturday the man known as Vincent was mocked by two men from community.

He armed himself with a machete and went in search of the men.

On reaching close proximity to the senior citizen home he caught up with one of the men and chopped him severely all over his body.

He then proceeded inside the house and chopped the elderly man to death.

Angry residents in the area rushed to the house and cornered Vincent, who residents say is mentally retarded.

They set upon him and beat him and chop him to death. His body was later set on fire.

The police were summoned and upon arrival they processed the scene and transported the wounded man to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.

The bodies of the senior citizen and Vincent were transported to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
