Rapper Travis Scott was performing at the Terminal 5 show in New York city when things got out of control. As the crowd got excited a Travis fan jumped from the third floor balcony, injuring others.
“Don’t be scared, they’ll catch you,” he said. It was then, other fans took it upon themselves to follow suit and also jump off that balcony into the crowd. Travis fan followed pursuit and jumped. The rapper had people picked up the patron off the floor, and he gave the guy his ring. According to reports. The fan was carried out because of an injury.
Travis and D.R.A.M. are set to open the Kendrick Lamar tour happening this summer. That tour includes a NYC show on July 20 at Barclays Center, which appeared to sell out immediately but now there are actually some tickets available.
His spokesperson said in a statement:
“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again. We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.”
