WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A tragic motorcycle accident early Saturday morning claimed the life of 25-year-old Adrian Hudson, a resident of Pentecost Lane in the Darliston area of Westmoreland.
The incident occurred on August 31 at approximately 12:30 a.m. along the Lower Darliston Road.
Hudson, popularly known as “Boy J,” was reportedly riding a blue motorcycle at high speed when he lost control of the bike near the Baba Roots Factory gate. The motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into an embankment, causing the bike to flip. Hudson was thrown violently onto the asphalt, sustaining severe head and bodily injuries.
Eyewitnesses who arrived on the scene described the aftermath as harrowing. Despite the swift response from emergency services, Hudson was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.
Hudson’s sudden death has left the Darliston community in shock, with friends and family struggling to come to terms with the loss of a young life. Local residents described Hudson as a well-known figure in the area, whose life was tragically cut short by the fatal accident.
The Westmoreland police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
