St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A popular social media personality was found dead Thursday night in Greenwich Town, St Andrew, in what police are treating as a suspected case of suicide.
Around 10:00 p.m. on August 1, officers from the St Andrew South Police Division were summoned to a residence on Sixth Street, where they found the body of 23-year-old Kevon Hamilton hanging from the ceiling with a curtain tied around the neck.
Hamilton, a transgender woman who was widely known online by the name Trish Doll, was a rising TikTok star known for her comedic skits, makeup tutorials, and lifestyle content.
Police say the body was discovered by a relative who immediately called for help. Emergency responders pronounced the individual dead at the scene. Investigators are probing the circumstances surrounding the death. While it is currently being treated as a suspected suicide, police have not ruled out foul play.
Friends and fans have since flooded Trish Doll’s TikTok page with messages of love and disbelief.
The body was removed to the morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
