USA (Mckoy’s News) – Tighter Airport Measures Coming for Passengers: Transport Minister Mike Henry is informing that tighter security measures are to be imposed at Jamaica’s airports.
This follows new airport security regulations unveiled this week by the US Government.
The US has unveiled tough measures to enhance security on flights entering the country.
The measures require enhanced passenger and electronic device screening across 105 countries.
Minister Henry says Jamaica must put measures in place to abide by the regulations.
If airlines do not comply with the regulations for enhanced security measures for inbound international flights, the airlines could have their certificates to land in the USA revoked.
