Teenage Girl Shot and Injured along with Two Other Persons in St James

Jamaica News, April 13, 2018 – Teenage Girl Shot      

St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Three persons including a teenage girl was shot and seriously wounded, in the Barrett Hall area of Lilliput in St James on Thursday, April 12.

The police say all three victims a 19-year-old girl, a 20-year-old unemployed man and a 24-year-old Customer Service Rep., all of Barrett Hall addresses, have since been admitted to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Reports by the Barrett Town Police are that, shortly after 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, the three victims were among a group of persons outside a shop in Wagon Wheel, Barrett Hall, when they were approached by two men.

The men brandished handguns and opened fire hitting all three victims to their bodies.  The gunmen then made their escape in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded victims were transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were admitted.
