Teen Drowns at Frenchman’s Bay in St Elizabeth

TREASURE BEACH, St Elizabeth — The St Elizabeth police are investigating the suspected drowning of a 17-year-old boy at Frenchman’s Bay on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Dejaughn Graham, of Comfort district in Manchester.

According to reports, around 3:30 p.m., Graham went for a swim at the beach in Frenchman’s Bay, located in the popular Treasure Beach area, when he reportedly got into difficulties in the water and drowned.

The Pedro Plains police are currently leading the investigation into the incident.

Graham’s untimely death has left his family and community in mourning, and police are reminding citizens to exercise caution when swimming, especially in areas without lifeguards or clear safety markings.
