Eighteen-year-old Oneil Thompson, otherwise called ‘Pretty Puss’, has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a man during an argument at a dominoes game in Kingston.
Thompson, of New Haven, Kingston 20, has also been charged with being armed with an offensive weapon. His court date is being finalised.
The incident occurred on Monday, August 31. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Christopher Wray, otherwise called ‘TunkuMan’, a labourer of Riverside Drive, Kingston 20.
According to police reports, Thompson and Wray were playing dominoes when an argument developed between them. The dispute reportedly became physical, during which Thompson allegedly used a knife to stab Wray in the upper body.
Wray was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Thompson reportedly fled the area following the incident but was apprehended on Wednesday, September 2.
He was formally charged following a question-and-answer session with investigators.
