RUNAWAY BAY, ST ANN — The St Ann police are awaiting post-mortem results to determine the cause of death for a well-known technician who was found deceased at his home in Runaway Bay on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Dolkeith Lancedale, commonly known as ‘Keith’, of Hampstead, Runaway Bay, St Ann.
Reports indicate that Lancedale, who lived alone, had suffered a stroke earlier in June.
According to information gathered, a friend had contacted Lancedale on Saturday to arrange a visit on Sunday. When the friend failed to reach him via phone calls on Sunday, he decided to check in person around 4:30 p.m.
Upon arriving at Lancedale’s residence, the friend found the house locked and no response from inside. Forced to break in, he discovered Lancedale’s lifeless body on the floor.
Police were summoned to the scene. After processing the area, the body was transported to the morgue, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
