The partially decomposed body of Clive Goulbourne, also known as “Silk,” was discovered at his Spicy Hill, Trelawny home on Monday.
Goulbourne, a well-known taxi operator in the area, had not been heard from for several days, prompting concern among residents.
Reports indicate that neighbors attempted to contact Goulbourne by phone, but their calls went unanswered. Growing increasingly worried, residents went to his home but found the doors securely locked, preventing entry.
The Jamaica Fire Brigade was called to the scene and gained access to the house, where they discovered Goulbourne’s lifeless body. The remains were later removed to a funeral home.
The Trelawny police have stated that they do not suspect foul play at this time. However, they are awaiting the results of a forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death.
