Manchester, Jamaica: Taxi Driver Killed in Manchester – Mandeville police have reported that a man died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision along Manchester Road in Mandeville, Manchester, on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Dave Woodley, of Broadleaf district in Manchester.
Reports indicate that around 6:15 am, Woodley was driving his Toyota Pro-box along Manchester Road from Knock Patrick towards Mandeville when he attempted to overtake a Honda motor car and lost control.
Woodley collided with the Honda, causing both vehicles to climb an embankment and overturn.
Both drivers sustained injuries and were rushed to Mandeville Hospital, where Woodley was pronounced dead, and the other man was treated and admitted.
