Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has confirmed that a recent technical issue affecting the processing of motor vehicle registration transactions has been fully resolved.
With the system now back to normal, customers can once again complete electronic registration services online through the agency’s official website, http://www.jamaicatax.gov.jm, or visit any Tax Office across the island for in-person assistance.
The agency also noted that all motor vehicle-related services have resumed without interruption. This includes registration renewals, new vehicle registrations, ownership transfers, and the purchase of registration plates, all of which are now being processed as usual at Tax Offices nationwide.
TAJ is encouraging the public to take advantage of its online platform to access services more efficiently and reduce wait times at physical locations.
For further details, customers may contact the TAJ Customer Care Centre at (888) TAX-HELP (829-4357) or visit the official website.
