Jamaica Crime News, St Thomas: The Yallahs police in St. Thomas are now carrying out investigations, surrounding the death of a farmer, who is suspected to have committed by hanging himself at his home in Yallahs, on Sunday morning, March 17.
The deceased man has been identified as 50-year-old Anthony Anderson, farmer of Hampstead district, St Thomas.
Reports by the police are that about residents in the community got concern after they realized that they did not see the elder farmer all weekend, and went to his home to investigate.
About 9:30 a.m. the residents discovered Anderson hanging from a piece of wire, which was tied around his neck and suspended from the ceiling of his house.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Anderson’s body was cut down and pronounced dead at hospital.
