Female Pedestrian Killed in Spanish Town Accident

Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: Female Pedestrian Killed A female pedestrian was killed by a motor vehicle after she attempted to cross a section of the roadway in Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Sunday, March 17.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Francine Coley of Adelaine Street, also in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Pedal Cyclist Killed in St Catherine Accident

Reports by the Spanish Town Police are that about 1:40 a.m., Coley was walking along a section of Barnett Street main road when she stepped in and the path of a Mazda motor car which was traveling towards Church Street.

Coley sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle has since been warned for prosecution.
