The Black River police are probing the death of a welder, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants along the Cambridge main road in St Elizabeth, on Tuesday, June 27.
He has been identified as 30-year-old Demar Green, otherwise called ‘Patra’ of Speculation district in St Elizabeth, and Retirement in Granville, St James.
Reports are that about 5:00am, residents heard gunshots and alerted the Black River police.
On the arrival of the lawmen, Green was discovered lying along the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
