The Kingston police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the Wednesday, March 23, 2022 murder of a Papine High School student.
The accused, 29-year-old Shaquille Richards, otherwise called ‘Shaquille Ballen’ of Chestnut Lane and Sandy Park in Kingston 6, has been charged with murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
Richards has been charged with the murder of 15-year-old Kenute Williams, of Liguanea Avenue.
Reports are that about 11:15am, the student was walking along a section of the roadway, when he was attacked and shot to death.
Following an investigation, and the use of CCTV footage, Richards was arrested and charged on Monday, after being held in an operation on Tuesday, May 30.
