The St. Ann police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a female bartender from St. Elizabeth and a male videographer from St. Ann, who were injured during a drive-by incident in Runaway Bay, St. Ann, on Saturday night.
Reports indicate that around 11:30 PM on Saturday, the female, who had just started a job as a bartender at a bar in Runaway Bay, was standing outside the establishment talking to the videographer when a car drove up.
The occupants of the car opened fire, hitting both individuals before speeding away.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, both victims were rushed to the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, where they were treated and admitted in stable condition.
