ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A 41-year-old man was shot and killed during a home invasion on Sunday evening on Fairfield Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The deceased has been identified as Martin Hudson, who resided at the Fairfield Road address.
According to reports, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Hudson and his brother were at home when armed men forced their way into the house and opened fire. Both men were injured in the attack. Hudson later succumbed to his injuries, while his brother was rushed to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigative Branch (CIB) has launched an investigation into the incident, as authorities continue to search for the suspects.
