St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Man Gets 16 Years for Rape of Stepdaughter: A man was sentenced in the St Catherine Circuit Court Monday to 16 years of hard labour for the rape of his stepdaughter.
On Monday, February 6, 2017 the St Catherine Circuit Court sentenced a man of a Gregory Park, St Catherine address, who earlier pleaded guilty to raping his stepdaughter, to 16 years of hard labour.
The accused was arrested and charged with rape of his stepdaughter following an investigation by the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.
The convicted man will be eligible for parole after he serves 10 years of hard labour in the penitentiary.
