St. Ann Woman Fatally Shot: A St. Ann woman was shot and killed while returning from church in the Helicon district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Nadia Binns.
Reports indicate that around 2:00 p.m., Binns had just returned home from church and was entering her one-room dwelling when she was ambushed and shot multiple times by armed men.
The police were summoned and, upon arrival, discovered Binns lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
