Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: The St Ann police are now seeking the public’s help, to identify the body of a man which was found hanging at a section of the Roaring River community, on Thursday morning, March 14.
The victim who appears to be in his late thirties is of dark complexion, slim built and about 6ft-2ins tall. He was clad in a grey shirt and blue jeans pants.
Reports by the St Ann police are that shortly after 11:30 a.m, on Thursday, residents living in Roaring River district, stumbled upon the body of the man and alerted them.
Suspected Suicide in St Catherine
Upon their arrival, the body was seen hanging from the branch of a tree, by a piece of electrical wire which was tied around the neck.
The scene was processed, and the body later cut down and transported to hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead.
Investigators say they are now treating this death as a case of suicide. Anyone with information that can assist the police is being asked to contact the St Ann Bay police station at 876 972-2211.
