Sophia Bush has found a new love.
The “One Tree Hill” star was spotted holding hands in Malibu with Grant Hughes, who according to his Instagram account, is founder of FocusMotion Health.
In a photo, Bush is seen wearing a face mask that reads, “Support Healthcare Workers.” Since the coronavirus pandemic began she has been a vocal supporter of healthcare and essential workers, highlighting their efforts on social media.
She also has another new addition in life. Last week the Time’s Up activist revealed that she adopted Maggie Magpie, a dog she had been fostering from The Animal Rescue Mission.
“Some good news. Made it official with Maggie!! Thanks to the team at The Animal Rescue Mission @theanimalrescuemission for bringing this ball of sunshine into my life. She’s such a love,” she wrote.
The 37-year-old actress was previously linked to her “Chicago P.D.” co-star Jessie Lee Soffer but they split in 2015 after a year of dating. Before that she had an on-again off-again relationship with Austin Nichols. Bush was also involved with Google exec Dan Fredinburg. They dated for close to year but parted as friends in February 2014. She has noted that Fredinburg’s death in 2015 from head injuries sustained during an avalanche at the base camp of Mount Everest greatly affected her.
Bush also had a brief 5-month marriage to her “One Tree Hill” co-star Chad Michael Murray in 2005. In a January 2014 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” she told the host, “We were two stupid kids who had no business being in a relationship in the first place. To all the other co-stars who’ve worked it out, more power to you.”
