At least six people were injured and transported to the hospital for treatment on Wednesday morning, following a three-vehicle collision along Marcus Garvey Drive.
Reports indicate that shortly after 7:00 a.m., the driver of a Toyota car collided with a motor truck and then a Daihatsu car, which was traveling in the opposite direction.
All three drivers and three other passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where they received treatment.
The local police are warning motorists to avoid speeding and to exercise caution while traveling on this section of the roadway.
