Manager Killed in Hanover Crash: The Green Island police in Hanover are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, who died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision along a section of the Orange Bay main road in the parish on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Byron Levy, a Security Manager who hailed from Clarendon. He was living in Hanover at the time of his death.
Reports state that around 8:30 am, Levy was driving his gray Toyota Wish motor car from Green Island towards Orange Bay, when he swerved to avoid hitting a pothole and collided with a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Levy and the driver of the pickup truck sustained head and upper body injuries. They were rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital, where they were treated and admitted.
Levy died later that afternoon after being transferred to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
